My Approach

You are the expert of your world. Therefore, I believe counselling should be client-centred. By providing a safe therapeutic encounter I support you to explore your difficulties in order to make changes according to your needs. If you decide to work with me, you can expect empathy, warmth and non-judgement. In my therapy, I welcome all that you are. I have experience of working with LGBTQ* clients and clients of the global majority. 
 

I work integratively meaning I adjust therapy to my clients' needs.
I use different approaches such as psychodynamic therapy, gestalt therapy, existential therapy and person-centred therapy. This means we can explore your past, present and future wishes. In addition to my integrative therapy MSc, I am on a doctoral program in existential psychotherapy. Existential therapy, can be helpful to find your meaning and freedom in a world that can feel restricting.

As well as working with most common mental health difficulties I have a special interest in supporting clients who have experienced loss and are facing life transitions.
